CCC Legal Solutions - Becoming a Client

Becoming a CCC Legal Solutions Client

You can engage us individually (such as a private client lawyer) or as a company/firm.

We will work with you on a project-by-project basis.  This will help you to focus on one project or matter at a time.  We will agree with you the costs of the project before we commence work for you.

Working with us is straight-forward.

Our first discussion

Our first discussion or zoom meeting is always without charge.

Requirements for help and improvement are varied. We would like to understand a little more as to what kind of help and support you are looking for. We can give some initial suggestions in our first discussion but to make a real impact for you it is usual to suggest a regular, focused approach. We will write to you with our suggestions based on what it is you need and require. We hope you will then agree that our charges are fair and reasonable according to an agreed budget and means.

Our suggested approach:

  • Following our initial discussion (without charge), we will usually then meet with you in person. We will usually charge a fixed fee of £550+vat to review with you your current situation and to report back with a suggested approach. Within this report we will provide some initial ideas and solutions.
  • From there, we have a meeting with you to discuss the written requirements and report: (no charge, included within the Report fee).
  • After that, we are engaged according to your requirements, and usually according to the suggested approach in the Report. We can be remunerated according to a fixed fee or hourly rate or a combination of the two. We understand that you will need to see what we can do for you before you really appreciate what we provide.

What is not included:

  • Our focus is on Private Client work (Wills, trusts, probate and estates). We do not review conveyancing, family, employment or litigation work.
  • Although our background is within the legal sector, we are not solicitors and we act outside of the legal sector. We do not undertake legal work on your client files although we may advise you to consider certain strategies or advice. We are subcontracted.  We are separate from your lawyers and staff.
